He lives on- Martin Luther King, Jr.

After studying and reading about this great man. There is no doubt that he is absolutely a great ethical leader.

Today marks the date he was birthed to life to help liberate and solve many different challenges faced by the human race.

I am not here to write about his leadership, but I will be sharing some of his important words with us;

In April 4, 1967 Martin said, "There are revolutionary times, all over the globe men are revolting against old systems of exploitation and oppression. The shirtless and barefoot people of the world are rising up as never before. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light...we must move past indecision to action...if we do not act, we shall surely be dragged down the long, dark, and shameful corridors of time reserved for those who possess power without compassion, might without morality, and strength without sight."

In 1958, He said, "I neither started the protest nor suggested it. I simply responded to the call of the people for a spokesman"

In 1963, He said, "I spoke from my heart."

In March 31,1968, Martin said, "Our world is a neighborhood...we are tied together in the single garment of destiny, caught in an inescapable network of mutuality. And whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly."

In 1963, He said, "The soft minded man always fear change. He feels security in the status quo, and he has an almost morbid fear of the new. For him, the greatest pain is the pain of a new idea."

In 1967, He said, "The essence of a man is found in freedom."

In March 4 1967, Martin said, "True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar."

In June 23, 1963, He said, "If a man hasn't discovered something that he will die for, he isn't fit to live."

Ultimately, in August 28, 1963, Martin said, "I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood....i have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today!"

This depicts that we growing youths have a lot to do to change the world, Martin was a youth when he changed the world. He died at the age of 39 and achieved a lot of things.

Friends, a quick one. What are you doing to change the world?

Happy birthday Martin Luther King, you live on!
